From Theory to Practice

From August 2018 until February 2019, Marvin Dharmawan wrote his Bachelor thesis whilst working in the Treasury Department at CTDI's European Headquarters in Malsch. As part of his thesis he dealt with the introduction of a treasury management system. “Besides being involved in implementing the system, I also supported Treasury in its operational work. For example, I prepared contract documents for banks, and created the necessary training documents for the implementation of the treasury management system.” In addition, Marvin also performed some daily business tasks: He documented foreign exchange transactions, compiled various reports, and kept track of the exchange rates for the monthly accounts. “My work at CTDI has given me a lot of valuable experience. It was very exciting to be involved directly in the system implementation process.” Marvin's dedication and commitment paid off: Since March 2019 he has been working as a “Treasury Implementation Specialist” at CTDI. From now on, he’s responsible for implementing, maintaining and developing the system in accordance with CTDI's requirements. “Being intensively preoccupied with the treasury system enabled me to put the theoretical part of my thesis into practice and gave me many interesting insights. I’m delighted that CTDI has offered me the chance to further broaden my experience and be involved in this exciting project. It's great fun to be part of this competent team.”
